Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek

Overview

Region :- Uttarakhand
Duration :- 5N/6D
Grade :- Moderate
Max Altitude :- 11,350 Ft.
Approx Trekking Km :- 31 Kms.

After you arrive in Haridwar it is all about twists and turns of the lower to the higher Himalayas. Before the pasture land, you have to cross lush forests of Ghairoli Patal forests with rhododendrons, oaks and birch. It is a surprise to walk upon the green- lands after following the forest route.

Another pleasant wonder is the Bedni Kund that just magnifies and reflects the beauty around it. Trishul peak is seen as close as possible and they are definitely something you must have never captured. Farther end of the skies is dominated by Chaukhamba peak. Throughout the meadows, you will see loads of sheep and horses grazing on them. You can also meet the Shepherds who have tonnes of exciting stories about their survival in the extreme weather. The hike is suitable for beginners and experienced hikers looking for a happy experience.

It is also a good family or kids trek. As the maximum height reached not more than 12,000 feet and maximum walk is through forest cover, there are fewer chances of AMS. However, it is always recommended to take precautions to prevent AMS. You must also be prepared physically to walk 3-4 hours daily.

The 6-days peaceful meandering comes with all the happiness one can get from the mountains. The whole process of enjoyment turns into memories after you go back to Haridwar from the Wan village.
